ABOUT US
Futurist Theatre Productions produce amateur shows throughout the North of England.
Run by Jamie Hudson and Catherine Moglia, Futurist offers exceptional pre-professional musical theatre performance opportunities and training for talented young people aged 10 to 30 (ish!). Previous productions have included Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Avenue Q, Phantom of the Opera and Yorkshire's Christmas Spectacular, and appearances at exclusive events such as West End and Friends have seen Futurist casts perform alongside the likes of Kerry Ellis, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Glenn Adamson, Luke Bayer and Shan Ako.
Operating across Leeds and the North of England, Futurist offer all of these experiences completely free of charge. As part of their firm belief that theatre should be accessible to all, Futurist will never a charge a performer to take part in productions or workshops- no rehearsal fees, costumes fees, or membership. It forms part of our Doing It Right policy- you can read more here.
Training Grants
Futurist are delighted to have started up their own further training grant scheme to assist previous cast members in funding auditions and professional training in the Arts. Recent recipients are currently studying at Arts Ed, Performers College and Leeds Conservatoire. For more information on how to apply for a grant, please contact catherine@futurist.co.uk.
